This piece depicts our woman in-between poses, pausing for a breath before going into Ardha Chandrasana. Taking a moment to stop and breathe is paramount to a sustainable and healthy practice. I felt it was important to depict this in the smaller series, where I took more liberties and had a little more fun showing the emotional side of yoga.  This drawing stands as a reminder that pausing to set up a new pose, or to take a breath, is an important part of the yoga journey.
